History of the brand
Created in 2020, Les RemarKables are quickly establishing themselves in the fashion dressing rooms of women from all over the world. The Wax Trenches were born during a trip to Senegal and a meeting with local artisans. The brand launches a first prototype which attracts the spotlight on it. Les RemarKables creations pay homage to artistic crafts and stand out as symbols of a unique style to honor the timeless elegance of today’s women. The design team works on the collections with passion, rigor and high standards. The brand inscribes its identity through its high standards and is distinguished by its effective, trendy, fitted and ultra-comfortable cuts to enhance the feminine silhouette from morning to night. She dares to combine exceptional materials and traditional know-how to create unique and recognizable pieces.

Why print?
The beauty of the patterns, their diversity, the colors, the graphics, the Wax fabric fulfills much more than an aesthetic function, it is also used to communicate and express one’s social belonging or one’s aspirations. It allows to experiment, to display its values and thus create a strong connection with the garment which becomes a real representation of who we are. The choice of a print by its colors, its pattern, also allows us to create our own interpretation and to write a story around it.

OUR PHILOSOPHY
Marie-Agnès Gillot is our first inspiration. Choreographer and Star Dancer of the Paris Opera, she has often been requested by fashion houses (Chanel, Céline, Hermès…). She knows, better than anyone, how to infuse clothes with the grace and fearlessness that characterizes her. Dazzling, superb, her career is an example of strength and courage.
